Tekpatl Kuauhtzin is a Nawa filmmaker, photographer and storyteller based in Los Angeles, California. By way of visual storytelling, he explores and reaffirms the inherent sovereignty of First Peoples and their ever-changing relationships with the environments that sustain them. His passion in visual storytelling was born of a love for Indigenous language revitalization, land-based autonomy and ways of being.
